However, they were not designed for off-roading. They struggled with long grass and gravel and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. This 2021 update includes a few improvements, including improved maneuverability, a bigger shopping basket and a redesigned bumper bar that has a leatherette cover. The seats are very comfortable and feature a moulded look. The seats are also adjustable, so they can be set to meet the needs of siblings. iCandy has included the first-ever “cinema seating” style that allows parents to maintain eye contact between both children. Our test participants found that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even moving on uneven ground or turning swiftly in the middle of a busy street. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was hugely appreciated. They also appreciated that the hoods could be moved forward and back, which made them easier to adjust in the sun or for wind protection. Our testers did discover however that they didn't provide the same amount of coverage compared to similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods and it's recommended to bring a rain jacket in case of need. Overall, our test participants were impressed with the Nipper double's ability allow them to take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From seeing wildlife in the forest or rushing to a park for a playdate they were thrilled. The testers were also impressed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There is plenty of room to stretch out for toddlers who are growing. Our testers did note that the absence of parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage and they would like to see more storage space for shopping and other equipment.
